"During the night of August 7, 2026, as part of efforts to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian aggressor, units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck an early-warning radar station near Olenivka and a facility for the storage, preparation and launch of attack UAVs in the area of Hvardiiske. Both facilities are located in temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukraine," the General Staff reported.

"The destruction of two ground-based repeaters for controlling Geran/ Gerbera-type attack UAVs was also confirmed – in Olenivka (the Autonomous Republic of Crimea) and Zалізний Порт (Kherson region)," the General Staff added.

Ground-based repeaters ensure stable communications and the transmission of commands between operators and attack unmanned aerial vehicles, increasing the range and effectiveness of their use.

"In addition, our soldiers struck an enemy fuel and lubricants depot in the area of Melitopol and a repair unit of the occupation forces near Yakymivka in Zaporizhzhia region," the General Staff stated.
