On August 1, the Russian army launched an airstrike on residential neighborhoods of Kherson with three guided bombs. One woman was killed, 19 people were injured.

On Saturday, August 1, at around 4:00 p.m., the Russian army launched an airstrike on Kherson. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine, informs UNN.

It is noted that Russian troops dropped three guided bombs on residential areas of the city, the explosion of which caused damage exclusively to civilian infrastructure and resulted in injuries and deaths of civilians.
The injuries of one resident of Kherson, unfortunately, turned out to be incompatible with life. She died from her wounds at the site of the strike. The identity of the deceased is currently being established
Later, the State Emergency Service clarified that as a result of the Russian airstrike on Kherson, 19 people were injured.
The victims were taken to hospitals with explosive and closed craniocerebral injuries, concussions, shrapnel wounds, bruises, fractures, and brain contusions. The people are receiving necessary medical care
