Ukrainian warriors are making every effort to make every step of the enemy as costly and exhausting as possible. Thus, for example, in the Donetsk region, the Russian army loses over 400 soldiers to capture 1 square kilometer of territory

- wrote Syrskyi.

The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that "we must seize the strategic initiative, so our defense is active."

"In addition, to reduce the enemy's offensive potential and limit its ability to launch massive missile and air strikes, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are striking objects of the Russian military-industrial complex at distances of up to 2,000 km. Also, within the framework of Middle Strike, we are destroying the Russian logistics network at a distance of up to 200-300 km from the front line. This should also have an impact on the battlefield," Syrskyi indicated.

He reported that he presented these figures during a meeting with the Commander of the NATO Special Mission for Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine – Commander of the Security Assistance Group–Ukraine, Lieutenant General Curtis Buzzard, where he informed his American colleague about the operational situation in the combat zone.

At the same time, during the conversation, the Commander-in-Chief outlined the critical needs of the Armed Forces, primarily regarding air defense systems.

"We highly appreciate the persistent efforts of partners in finding opportunities to promptly meet our requests for weapons and ammunition, in particular to replenish the stock of anti-aircraft missiles. Quite encouraging is the statement by the US President at the NATO summit regarding the provision of a license to Ukraine for the production of Patriot missiles. Combined with the implementation of the Priority Urgent Requirements List (PURL), both approaches provide the short-term and long-term support necessary to strengthen the combat capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is an effective tool for deterring the enemy and encouraging it to engage in constructive dialogue," Syrskyi noted.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that after the strike on the Omsk Oil Refinery, there is no longer a single Russian oil refinery that Ukrainian weapons could not reach. Modernized long-range drones FP-1, produced by the Ukrainian company Fire Point, are already capable of hitting targets at a distance of almost 2,500 km.

In addition, advisor to the Minister of Defense Serhiy Sternenko stated that this summer the intensity of strikes deep into Russia will only increase due to the massive use of long-range drones and Flamingo missiles. According to him, it is the systematic strikes on oil refining, military, and logistics infrastructure that deprive Russia of the advantage of a "deep rear" and significantly deplete its military potential.
