"Prime Minister Orban has been in Moscow before, then he had informed us about his visits. We have also discussed his visits after he has returned. Hungary informed us about this upcoming visit. And I expect when Viktor Orban is in Washington at the NATO summit next week there will be opportunities to discuss and address the discussions he had in Moscow," Stoltenberg said.
The NATO Secretary General recalled that he had recently visited Budapest to discuss with Orban "the war in Ukraine, Russia's aggressive war." "Hungary agrees that Russia is responsible for the war, Russia is a perpetrator, and Russia can end this war today when stop attacking Ukraine," Stoltenberg said.
"Of course, Viktor Orban is not representing NATO at these meetings, he is representing his own country," Stoltenberg emphasized.
