Slovakia threatens to stop supplying diesel to Ukraine due to the situation with the transit of Lukoil's oil

Slovak Prime Minister Fico announced that diesel supplies to Ukraine might be cut off if Kyiv does not resume transit of Lukoil oil. He offered a technical solution to his Ukrainian counterpart, Shmyhal.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico says that his country will stop supplying diesel to Ukraine if Kyiv does not resume the flow of oil from the Russian Lukoil group through its territory, reports UNN with reference to Dennikn.
Fico warned in a video message on Facebook: "If the transit of Russian oil through Ukraine is not resumed within a short time, (Slovak oil refiner) Slovnaft will not continue to supply diesel fuel to Ukraine.
He noted that oil supplies from other Russian suppliers have not stopped, with Slovak supplies accounting for about a tenth of Ukraine's diesel consumption. On Friday, Fico offered Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal a technical solution, but details remain vague. "I welcome reports that the relevant trade firms are already thinking about how to implement this technical solution as soon as possible," Fico said.
