The Russian army attacked a high-voltage substation in Zaporizhzhia at night, damaging equipment. Electricity consumption is restricted in Kharkiv region and Kryvyi Rih district.

At night, the enemy attacked a high-voltage substation in Zaporizhzhia region twice with UAVs. Also in Dnipropetrovs'k region, an explosion occurred on the territory of a gas infrastructure facility as a result of the fall of the wreckage of a downed missile.  Electricity consumption restrictions are being imposed in Kharkiv region and in Kryvyi Rih district, the Energy Ministry said on Monday, UNN reported

Over the past day, due to network restrictions on the transmission system operator's lines, blackout schedules were applied in Kharkiv region. Today, the restrictions continue to be applied: in the morning, blackout schedules are in effect in Kharkiv region, and there is a local restriction on electricity consumption in Kryvyi Rih district

As noted, there is no shortage of electricity in the integrated power system of Ukraine. The power system of Ukraine is stable and balanced.  

Yesterday afternoon, due to the sunny weather and, accordingly, active electricity generation by SPPs, the transmission system operator limited the production of electricity from RES to a total of 14,243 MWh.  

Consequences of shelling

Reportedly, the enemy attacked the equipment at a high-voltage substation in Zaporizhzhia region twice at night with UAVs. The equipment was damaged. 

Also yesterday, a high-voltage overhead line in Kharkiv region was disconnected due to shelling, which resulted in a power outage at the substation that supplies household consumers in the regional center. Everyone has been reconnected, the Ministry of Energy reported. 

Two high-voltage power lines in Dnipropetrovs'k region were simultaneously disconnected as a result of hostilities.  

Also in the Dnipropetrovs'k region, an explosion occurred on the territory of a gas infrastructure facility as a result of the fall of the downed missile debris. The buildings were damaged. There were no casualties. 

Import and export 

As reported, electricity imports with a capacity of 313 MW are forecast for the current day. There are also exports at night with a capacity of up to 362 MW.
