Russia attacked energy infrastructure in Bukovyna - some residents without power

11 drones were recorded over Bukovyna, two of which hit an energy facility. Due to the fire, two communities were left without electricity, with no casualties.

In the Chernivtsi region, Russian troops attacked energy facilities today, leaving 17 settlements without electricity, reported Ruslan Osypenko, head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration, on Wednesday in Telegram, writes UNN.

According to him, during today's enemy attack, 11 UAVs violated the airspace over the Chernivtsi region. 2 of them were eliminated by air defense forces, and 7 more left the region.
As a result of two enemy drones hitting, a fire broke out on the territory of an electricity supply facility, and 17 settlements of the Khotyn and Rukshyn territorial communities were temporarily de-energized. Fortunately, there were no dead or injured.
According to him, all relevant services promptly arrived at the scene of the damage. "Energy workers will begin work on restoring electricity supply as soon as security conditions allow," added the head of the Regional Military Administration.
