On July 3, firefighters extinguished a fire in the village of Pryvilne, Pryvilnyanska territorial community, Mykolaiv region, that started due to the heat.
When the rescuers arrived, the fire had already spread to two residential buildings and four outbuildings.
Fortunately, the fire was contained to an area of about 2 hectares. As a result, two houses and two buildings were saved from complete destruction, and the fire was prevented from spreading to three more houses.
This is yet another case of dead wood burning going beyond open areas and destroying people's property. The heat wave continues, and it is unclear whether it will rain in the near future.
