Russian dictator Vladimir Putin stated that the plans to "control the entire Donbas and reach an agreement do not contradict each other." In addition, he added that Russia allegedly controls 80% of the Zaporizhzhia region, 85% of the "DPR," and 100% of the "LPR," UNN reports with reference to Russian media.

Putin, during a meeting with the heads of major international news agencies at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), repeated his thesis that "Russia continues its offensive in all directions."
In his opinion, the number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has recently "decreased by 100,000 people."
