Russia is spreading a fake about "Indian assistants" to the TCC to divide society. The primary source of the plant was a little-known propaganda Telegram channel. In Ukraine, it was disseminated by bloggers who are under sanctions.

Russian internet resources are spreading a fake photo allegedly showing "TCC assistants" of Indian origin on the streets of Ukrainian cities. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Center for Countering Disinformation of the NSDC of Ukraine and the Center for Strategic Communications.

Photos appeared on social media showing a man of Indian appearance in a uniform with a red armband and the inscription "TCC assistant."

At the same time, fact-checkers found that the primary source of the fake is a little-known Telegram channel "Russkiy Patriot," which published the photo on May 18 at 14:52 Kyiv time.

Subsequently, a synchronized "boost" occurred through Russian propaganda resources on Telegram and other platforms. In the Ukrainian segment, the fake was spread by anonymous channels and bloggers, some of whom are under sanctions for supporting Russian information operations. Among them is People's Deputy Artem Dmytruk.

As noted by the CCD and CSC, the enemy's goal is to split Ukrainian society and provoke internal conflicts on inter-ethnic grounds.

The State Bureau of Investigation completed a pre-trial investigation regarding the leadership of one of the district TCCs in the Ivano-Frankivsk region and three of its subordinates who humiliated and beat conscripts.
