The Pentagon has paid SpaceX $23 million to deploy Starlink terminals in Ukraine as part of U.S. security assistance.
The value of the agreement signed between the Pentagon and Elon Musk's SpaceX company to deploy Starlink terminals in Ukraine is $23 million, Bloomberg reports, UNN reports.

According to the newspaper, a U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, described the deal as a vital part of the security assistance the United States is providing to Ukraine.
The contract for the supply of Starlink communication terminals to SpaceX is valid from June last year until next month. The official declined to say whether it would be extended.
Ukraine has a steady supply of Starlink terminals thanks to effective coordination between the teams of Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and Elon Musk.
The use of Starlink by Russians is not widespread, but Ukraine is working to limit its functionality.
