Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ivan Vyhivskyi signed orders approving the procedures for additional remuneration payments to servicemen of the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and special purpose police officers within the framework of an experimental project of motivational payments. This is reported by UNN with reference to the minister's post on Telegram.

According to him, this mechanism will allow guardsmen, police officers, and border guards who defend the state on the front line to receive up to 460 thousand hryvnias per month in motivational payments. The complexity and danger of tasks, as well as specific results of combat work, are taken into account, Vyhivskyi noted.

The payments will look as follows:

  • up to 100 thousand hryvnias per month (proportional to time) for direct participation of servicemen in combat operations;
    • 170 thousand hryvnias per month (proportional to time) for performing tasks directly on the line of contact;
      • 70 thousand hryvnias per month (proportional to time) for performing tasks on other sections of the front within the company stronghold;
        • 50 thousand hryvnias per month (proportional to time) for service at command posts;
          • from 15 to 30 thousand hryvnias per month for instructors – servicemen;
            • up to 10 thousand hryvnias per month of military service - for other categories of servicemen;
              • 40 thousand hryvnias per day for capturing enemy positions;
                • 20 thousand hryvnias per day for returning lost positions;
                  • 100 thousand hryvnias for each captured occupier;
                    • 15 thousand hryvnias for destroying the enemy in rifle or hand-to-hand combat.

                      The relevant orders are already undergoing state registration, after which they will be published and come into force. These payments will be accrued for the period from June 1, 2026
