In the past 24 hours, 241 combat engagements took place; the most difficult situation remains in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors. The enemy released 257 aerial bombs and over 6,800 kamikaze drones.

241 combat engagements occurred at the front over the past day, with the most intense fighting on the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole axes, the General Staff of the AFU reported in its morning briefing on April 27, showing a map of hostilities, UNN reports.

The Defense Forces are repelling the occupiers' attempts to improve their positions and advance deep into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy. In total, 241 combat engagements were recorded over the past day,

- the General Staff reported.

Yesterday, the enemy launched 86 air strikes, dropping 257 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 6,847 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,673 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, including 138 from multiple launch rocket systems.

The aggressor carried out air strikes, particularly in the areas of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region – Novoselivka, Pidhavrylivka, Kolomiitsi; in the Zaporizhzhia region, air strikes hit Vozdvyzhivka, Samiilivka, Lisne, Novoselivka, Huliaipilske, Dolynka, Krynychne, Rivne, Rizdvianka, Yasna Polyana, Lystivka, Zarichne, Yulivka, Mykilske, Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka, and Komyshuvakha.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck one area of manpower concentration and two enemy UAV control points.

Situation by axes

On the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, the enemy attacked units of our defenders twice over the past day, launched one air strike using two KABs, and carried out 78 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including five using MLRS.

On the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi axis, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 11 times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Lyman, Okhrimivka, Zemlianky, Kruhle, Krasne Pershe, and Vovchansk.

On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy attacked nine times toward the settlements of Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Kucherivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Novoplatonivka, and Borivska Andriivka.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy tried to wedge into our defense 10 times, attacking in the direction of Lyman, Dibrova, Shyikivka, and Drobysheve.

On the Sloviansk axis, during the past day, our defenders stopped one attempt by the occupiers to advance in the area of Rai-Oleksandrivka.

On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.

On the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy carried out 26 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Sofiivka, Kucheriv Yar, Stepanivka, Vilne, and Rusyn Yar.

On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders stopped 55 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodnie, Muravka, Molodetske, Filiia, Bilytske, Oleksandrivka, and Vasylivka.

On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy attacked nine times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Kalynivske, Sichneve, Zlahoda, Khoroshe, Verbove, and Novohryhorivka.

On the Huliaipole axis, 37 attacks by the occupiers took place toward the settlements of Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Charivne, Pryluky, Staroukrainka, Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Sviatopetrivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Tsvitkove, and in the area of Myrnyi.

On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy advanced once toward the positions of our defenders in the area of Stepove.

On the Prydniprovskyi axis, the enemy carried out three attacks toward the Antonivka Bridge, Bilohrudyi Island, and Kruhlyk Island.

On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
