Jake Sullivan, Biden's national security adviser, made an unannounced visit to Kyiv and assured that Congress would vote to provide $60 billion in aid to Ukraine, including a new $300 million military aid package that includes ammunition, air defense and other weapons.
Many people did not think that a security agreement with the United States would become a reality. The head of the Prosecutor General's Office said this during an unannounced visit to Ukraine by US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, UNN reports.
"I think we will soon be able to prepare and our leaders will be able to sign an agreement with the United States, I am sure it will be historic. This implies communication not just formally, but communication in a permanent format," Yermak said.

Biden's adviser comes to Kyiv on an unannounced visit and assures that Congress will vote for $60 billion in aid to Ukraine.
"We will get this aid to Ukraine. Just last week, we allocated a new military aid package worth 300 million, which included ammunition, air defense equipment and other weapons that are important for the frontline," Jake Sullivan said at a joint briefing with the head of the OP Andriy Yermak.
According to him, the United States will also work with the rest of the world, a coalition of more than 50 countries, to send even more weapons to Ukraine.
