According to the investigation, a 51-year-old Kyiv resident, in collusion with others, developed a scheme to smuggle men liable for military service across the state border of Ukraine.
In exchange for a monetary reward, he promised the "client" to enter his data into the Shlyakh system, which would then allow him to travel outside Ukraine under the guise of a volunteer transporting goods for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Officers of the Holosiivskyi Police Department jointly with the SBU Office in Kirovohrad region detained the offender in the capital while he was receiving pre-arranged funds from the "client".
Currently, investigators under the procedural supervision of the Holosiivskyi District Prosecutor's Office have served the suspect a notice of suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 27, Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine
