On July 17, the Ukrainian delegation received rooms in the Olympic Village in Paris, where the Ukrainian national team will stay.
"Comfortable and modern double rooms-blocks, in addition to living space, have areas for relaxation and communication. The furniture in the rooms is made of environmentally friendly materials," the NOC said.
The newly built Olympic Village itself is located in the Saint-Denis district of northern Paris, not far from the famous Stad-de-France stadium. During the Olympic Games, it will host athletics, rugby, the football tournament final and the closing ceremony.
"The building where the Ukrainian team will live is located next to all the main infrastructure facilities of the village, including the organizing committee, the transport mall, where the team will go for training and competitions, the dining room, and the fitness center. The national teams of Canada, Germany, and Ireland will live next to the Ukrainians," the NOC said.
The Ukrainian delegation also met with volunteers who will help ensure the team's comfortable stay during the Games. "It is interesting that among the volunteers there are many Ukrainians who came from different parts of the world to support the national team of Ukraine," the NOC said.
