Russian occupiers are dropping fake Ukrainian banknotes over Sumy and Chernihiv regions using drones - the "money" may contain provocative inscriptions and QR codes leading to enemy information resources. This was reported by UNN.

Details

Acting Mayor of Sumy Artem Kobzar, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov, and Head of the Koriukivka District Military Administration of Chernihiv Oblast Pavlo Miroshnychenko urged the public not to touch these fake banknotes and to report their presence to the police or the State Emergency Service.

Officials added that Russians systematically use drones not only for attacks but also for dropping suspicious objects.

Recall

Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Serhiy "Flash" Beskrestnov stated that intact kamikaze drones detonate with a delay, which has already led to casualties. He advised against approaching the wreckage of enemy drones, even if an explosion occurred during the fall.
