The occupiers have taken about 500 thousand tons of wheat from Zaporizhzhia region and plan to take another 200 thousand tons. In total, about 1 million tons of grain and industrial crops were stolen from the occupied territories.

This year, about half a million tons of wheat were exported from Zaporizhzhia region, and another 200 thousand tons are planned to be exported. The head of the Zaporizhzhia RMA, Ivan Fedorov, said this during a telethon, UNN reports .

We are talking about 1 million tons of both industrial and grain crops in the TOT. The enemy delivers our grain to the occupied Crimea or to the continental part of Russia, from where it is exported to third countries

 ," says Fedorov.

He noted that this year, about half a million tons of wheat were exported from the region, which is a seventh of all the grain that Russia exported. Another 200 thousand tons are planned to be exported.

There were about 1.8 million hectares of land in Zaporizhzhia region in total. Now 80% of it is occupied, so the enemy controls about 1.4 million hectares, and a large amount of crops are grown in these areas. When we talk about 1 million tons, this figure was recorded in 2022-2023, because the enemy stole it from the TOT. This is not just the harvest of a particular year. We understand that there was a large amount of grain in granaries, elevators, and the port of Berdiansk, which the enemy also stole. Therefore, this is not a figurative amount, but a calculated amount based on the availability of the grain that was on the TOT

- Fedorov added.

He says there is no hunger in the TOT.
