In Semypolky, a 45-year-old intoxicated man inflicted severe injuries on a child following a conflict with his wife. The boy was hospitalized, and the father has been taken into custody.
In the Kyiv region, a father beat his 7-year-old child. The suspect faces up to eight years in prison, UNN reports, citing the Kyiv region police.

Law enforcement officers established that in the village of Semypolky, a conflict arose between a 45-year-old suspect, who was intoxicated, and his wife, after which the woman left the house. Subsequently, the man entered the room and struck his son numerous times with his hands on the head, torso, and limbs.
As a result of the beating, the boy sustained serious bodily injuries and was hospitalized. He is currently under medical supervision.
The man has been detained in accordance with procedural order.
Under the procedural guidance of the Brovary District Prosecutor's Office, investigators notified the perpetrator of suspicion regarding the intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, dangerous to life at the time of infliction (Part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The court ordered a measure of restraint in the form of detention without the possibility of bail.
