Natural and directive: Ministry of Defense on ways to implement "Army+" in units
Kyiv • UNN
The Ministry of Defense prefers a natural rollout of the Army+ app in military units. The maximum coverage of the Armed Forces is expected by the end of the year, with an emphasis on the leadership of brigade commanders in this process.
The Ministry of Defense has two ways to actively implement the Army+ application in military units. One of them is directive, when an order is issued. However, the Ministry wants this process to be natural. Artem Romaniukov, Director of the Digital Transformation Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, told UNN about this.
We have two strategic ways in which we can develop this. The first is natural, when it develops on its own. The second is a directive way, when we issue an order, a directive, a directive. We are now leaving some time for natural development to take place, because for us it is the most sustainable
He noted that he would monitor the dynamics of the implementation of the Army+ application in the units.
Literally, the app is available today, and we are monitoring the dynamics. As soon as we see that the momentum is slipping and it is not reaching our goals, we will think about how we can accelerate it further. One option is to issue an order, but we want it to be natural

During the briefing, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Kateryna Chernogorenko told reporters that the Ministry of Defense expects maximum coverage of the Army+ app in the army.
We would generally expect maximum coverage, but we are allowing for a gradual rollout in the army under the leadership of a brigade commander, for example, to deploy this system for their own soldiers. We believe that such a very positive competition between brigade commanders will help to speed up the deployment. Technically, we are ready to withstand one million users. We will be very happy if by the end of the year we cover the entire Armed Forces of Ukraine
In addition, Chernogorenko emphasized that brigade commanders have great leadership.
We appeal to the brigade commanders, you have a great leadership role to play in order to finally make the army modern and digital in the 21st century. I really believe that brigade commanders will be able to quickly scale this in their units
