Mobile moral support groups adapt recruits in the AFU - General Staff

The General Staff has introduced mobile groups to adapt recruits in training centers. Specialists conduct lectures and performances for emotional decompression.

As part of the implementation of the Comprehensive Program for the Adaptation of Newly Arrived Servicemen, mobile moral support groups have been organized on a permanent basis in the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU, according to UNN.
Details
It is noted that the implementation of these measures is ensured by the Main Directorate of Psychological Support of the AFU Personnel with the involvement of representatives of military bands, officers' clubs, public organizations, and creative groups, including the "Cultural Forces" project.
The activities of the mobile moral support groups are aimed at comprehensively facilitating the adaptation of newly arrived servicemen to the conditions of military service. Through live communication, historical and motivational lectures, cultural and educational meetings, musical and patriotic performances, thematic exhibitions, and video materials, examples of heroism are conveyed to the servicemen
It is indicated that such measures also contribute to the emotional decompression of people under conditions of intensive training.

After one of the most difficult winters in recent years, the emotional state of Ukrainians has begun to recover. In April 2026, the proportion of those feeling tension decreased to 39% compared to 51% in February.
