The leader of the Tisza party advocated for the diversification of Hungary's energy supply. He expects the EU to lift restrictions on Russia and calls for the protection of his own economy.
The leader of the "Tisza" party and future Prime Minister of Hungary, Péter Magyar, stated that after the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the European Union might lift sanctions against Russia. At the same time, he advocated for the diversification of energy supplies for Hungary. This was reported by the Hungarian publication 444, according to UNN.
During a press conference after his election victory, Magyar stated that the new government would seek to reduce the country's dependence on a single energy source.
