It is noted that Denmark is the first Scandinavian country to sign a security agreement with Ukraine. The document enshrines specific international support for Ukraine's defense and reconstruction.

In 2024, Ukraine will receive €1.8 billion in aid from Denmark. The two countries will focus on air defense, maritime security, drones, and air forces. In particular, Denmark will continue to work in the F-16 coalition: it will provide fighters, ammunition, trainers, training, and help maintain the aircraft. Denmark is ready to support Ukraine for as long as it takes to restore its territorial integrity,

It is also emphasized that such a partnership will contribute to the reform and strengthening of Ukraine's defense capabilities. It is also noted that during the two years of the full-scale invasion, support from Denmark has already reached 4.5 billion euros in military and 411 million in civilian aid, and by 2028 the Danish government will provide Ukraine with more than 8 billion euros.
