Details
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, in early 2026, the man was extradited from Belgium to Ukraine, where he was on an international wanted list.
According to the investigation, since February 2015, in one of the settlements near Odesa, the man systematically abused the child. Taking advantage of the mother's absence, he raped her for approximately five years, starting from the girl's age of 11.
The investigation established that the accused molested the child, forced her to watch pornographic content, and repeatedly committed rape. He recorded some of these actions on his mobile phone and stored them on his laptop. He then used the recordings for psychological pressure and blackmail to prevent the victim from reporting the crimes.
After the risk of exposure increased, the man left Ukraine. Abroad, he worked as a sailor and hid from the investigative authorities for almost five years. He was заочно notified of suspicion and put on an international wanted list.
