Harvest in Ukraine is coming to an end - Ministry of Agrarian Policy

Ukraine's harvest is nearing completion. We have already harvested 27.3 million tons of grains and 3.3 million tons of oilseeds, including 20.9 million tons of wheat, 5.2 million tons of barley and 3.3 million tons of rapeseed.
The harvest in Ukraine is coming to an end. More than 30.6 million tons of grains and oilseeds have already been harvested, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported on Friday, UNN reports.

"The harvest in Ukraine is coming to an end. Agrarians in Bukovyna, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Poltava, Odesa, Kherson, Kirovohrad and Cherkasy regions have completed harvesting early grains and legumes. In total, 27.3 million tons of grain and more than 3.3 million tons of oilseeds have been harvested," the statement said.
The new harvest, as indicated, was harvested on an area of over 7,741.4 thousand hectares, with a yield of 30,640.2 thousand tons:
- wheat - threshed on an area of 4,732.7 thou hectares or 97%, harvested 20,935.2 thou tons;
- barley - 1,367.4 thousand hectares were threshed, up 98%, with a harvest of 5,203.6 million tons;
- peas - threshed on an area of 207.6 thou hectares by 99%, harvested 457.7 thou tons.
- Rapeseed - 1,220.4 thou hectares threshed by 99%, 3,318 thou tons of seeds harvested.
Agrarians in Odesa region are the leaders in grain harvesting, with 1072.9 thousand hectares threshed.
Khmelnytsky region is the leader in terms of yield with 65.1 c/ha.
Farmers in Dnipropetrovs'k, Odesa, Kharkiv and Kherson regions have started harvesting buckwheat and millet.
