Vice President Kamala Harris leads Donald Trump by 4% in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, according to a new NYT poll. This is the first poll since Biden dropped out of the race.
US Vice President Kamala Harris is ahead of her political opponent, 45th President Donald Trump, in the states of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. These are the so-called swing states that usually determine the winner of elections. This was shown by a new poll commissioned by The New York Times, UNN reports .

It is noted that Democratic presidential candidate Harris is four percentage points ahead of Republican Trump in all three of the above states and that the votes are equally distributed. That is, 50% for Harris and 46% for Trump.
The poll was conducted on August 5-9 in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The respondents were 1973 voters in the mentioned states.
The NYT writes that this is one of the first high-quality polls conducted since incumbent US President Joe Biden withdrew from the race. The publication notes that before that, Republican Trump had a slight advantage over the Democratic candidate.
Democrats now have a markedly stronger position in these three swing states, which have long been key to the party's victories or defeats. However, the results show Harris's vulnerabilities.
