Government approves new assistance program “Warm Winter”: who will receive UAH 6500 per child

The government has launched a winter support program for low-income families and IDPs. In December, they will receive UAH 6,500 for each child to buy winter clothes.
At its meeting on November 26, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution to launch a new winter support program for Ukrainian families - “Warm Winter”. In December, low-income families and IDPs with children or adults with group I disabilities will receive UAH 6,500 for each child to buy winter clothes. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, UNN reports.
Shmyhal said that the government has taken the first steps to implement a comprehensive Winter Support package for Ukrainian families. One of the priorities of the program is the protection of Ukrainian children
The children's component of Winter Support includes a number of items. Among them is the Warm Winter program: a one-time financial assistance for children to help them through the winter. In December, every low-income family and IDP family with children or adults with disabilities of the first group will receive UAH 6,500 for each child. These funds will be used to buy warm clothes, shoes and other winter necessities for children. Today we are adopting a resolution that launches this program
