The Brave1 project has become a defense technology ecosystem with more than 900 innovators, which has developed 1,600 projects in 12 areas, including UAVs, intelligence, robotics, and military medicine. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov in his telegram channel, UNN reports.

"With the start of the full-scale invasion, it became clear that technological game changers were needed on the battlefield. To ensure the rapid and effective development of the defense-tech market, the Ministry of Digital Transformation launched the Brave1 cluster a year ago together with the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, the Ministry of Strategy, the Ministry of Economy, and the National Security and Defense Council. Now Brave1 is a whole defense-tech ecosystem with more than 900 innovators who have created more than 1,600 developments," Fedorov wrote on Telegram.

According to him, the cluster is currently active in 12 key areas, including UAVs, reconnaissance equipment, ground robotics, electronic warfare systems, navigation systems, demining, and military medicine.

"Brave1 has become a single point of entry for all defense-tech stakeholders. Today, the cluster operates in 12 top areas, including UAVs, reconnaissance, ground robotic systems, electronic warfare systems, navigation systems, demining, military medicine, etc. Today, there are already dozens of technological solutions in each area that the state purchases for the frontline. Among the latest, we have transferred 2,000 short-range electronic warfare systems from Ukrainian developers, members of the Brave1 cluster, and ShaBlya robotic platforms to the front," the official said.

He added that they are now focusing on the development of ground robotic systems, electronic warfare, artificial intelligence in defense technologies, and UAVs.
