EU expects to unblock loan for Ukraine after Druzhba oil transit resumes – Kos
Kyiv • UNN
European Commissioner Marta Kos announced the EU's readiness to provide financial assistance after oil transit resumes. The funds will reach the budget in the near future.

The resumption of oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline has become a positive signal for relations between Ukraine and the European Union and may pave the way for the launch of a large credit program to support Kyiv. This was stated by European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos during a conversation with journalists on the sidelines of the Ukraine-EU Business Summit, UNN reports.
According to her, the resumption of oil transportation creates preconditions for unblocking the financial aid package for Ukraine.
Oil is flowing again through the Druzhba pipeline. This means that, probably, or even certainly, we will be able to unblock the loan for Ukraine. This is very important
She added that Ukraine is simultaneously implementing the necessary reforms, and the Verkhovna Rada continues to adopt the necessary decisions.
That is why in the coming days we will be able to send funds to the budget of Ukraine to partially ensure liquidity
