Eight military units lose the right to conduct independent basic military training - Syrskyi

Syrskyi has revoked the right of eight units to independently train recruits. The decision was made following quality inspections of training and conditions across 72 units.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that eight military units have lost the right to conduct independent basic combined arms training. He reported this on Facebook, according to UNN.

As the Commander-in-Chief noted, no matter how advanced the training program is, the human factor remains the decisive one.

Syrskyi also added that during a working meeting, he heard the results of inspections conducted in May in 72 military units that had received the right to conduct basic combined arms training on their own base. Based on the results of the control, a number of decisions were made, including some tough ones.
Eight military units have lost the right to independently conduct basic training. Specific brigades and regiments have been tasked with reviewing their own capabilities and improving the conditions and content of recruit training. No one is untouchable. The Commander-in-Chief also separately heard proposals from representatives of the commands of the branches and arms of the service, as well as combat brigades, regarding further improving the quality of training.
