According to reports, the visit is preceded by the actions of the Dutch government, which this year began refusing to issue licenses to ASML, the largest supplier of equipment for computer chip manufacturers, to export many of its products to China under pressure from the United States.
During his visit on March 26-27, Rutte is expected to meet with Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang, and Dutch Trade Minister Jeffrey van Leeuwen is expected to meet with his Chinese counterpart Wang Wentao.
They will discuss opportunities for economic cooperation, the importance of a level playing field and equal access to markets
