Denmark announces new aid package for Ukraine: what it includes

The Danish Ministry of Defense has announced the 23rd package of military assistance to Ukraine worth DKK 2.1 billion. The funds will be used to strengthen air defense, support F-16s, and purchase CV90 infantry fighting vehicles in cooperation with Sweden.
The Danish Ministry of Defense has announced the 23rd aid package for Ukraine, which provides for 2.1 billion Danish kroner (over 281 million euros), among other things, to strengthen Ukraine's air defense and combat aviation capabilities. Reportedly, the new aid package is aimed at strengthening Ukraine's air defense, which is provided through Denmark's international partners. In addition, the package provides for a financial contribution to the operation of Ukrainian F-16s.
“One of Ukraine's most urgent needs right now is the ability to protect itself from Russian air strikes. That is why we are prioritizing more support for air defense. In addition, the package contains a financial contribution to the functioning of Ukraine's combat aviation, in the development of which Denmark has played a special role by providing F-16 combat aircraft and training,” said Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
In addition, Denmark, in cooperation with Sweden, is donating a number of CV90 infantry fighting vehicles, Denmark is also sending more personnel to NATO's enhanced support for Ukraine and increasing its contribution to the EU military mission to support Ukraine, the Danish Defense Ministry said.
