Defense Forces regain control of Odradne and approximately 22 sq. km in Kharkiv region - 16th Corps

The Defense Forces have regained control over Odradne and the surrounding territory in the Kharkiv region, the 16th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on social media on Friday, UNN writes.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine have regained control over Odradne and the surrounding territory in the Dvorichna district of the Kharkiv region. As a result of successful offensive actions by units of the 16th Army Corps, approximately 22 square kilometers of territory were liberated, including the settlement of Odradne,

- the 16th Army Corps reported.

During the operation, the enemy reportedly suffered significant losses – 56 occupiers were liquidated.

"Units of the 129th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade conducted assault operations and pushed the enemy out of fortified positions, forest belts, and strongholds. Assault groups, UAV operators, and artillery were involved in the operation – every element worked precisely, in coordination, and for the result. Step by step, Ukrainian warriors identified and struck enemy positions, destroying their attempts to hold onto our land," the Corps stated.

As noted by the Corps, behind this advancement is endurance, cold calculation, interaction, and the strength of those who perform combat missions daily on the most difficult sectors of the front.

"Odradne is under Ukrainian control once again. And this is another reminder: where the warriors of the 16th Army Corps operate, the enemy loses not only positions but also any illusions about their presence on Ukrainian land," the Corps emphasized.
