According to the Pentagon, the United States is ready to sell Taiwan spare parts and support for F-16 aircraft and radar systems, totaling 3 385 million.

In addition, China protested over the transit of President Taiwan through the United States, calling Washington's actions a threat to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the PRC.
