Both China and the US hope for a swift end to the conflict in Ukraine and are ready to maintain communication for a political settlement of the crisis. This was stated by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi following the meeting between Xi Jinping and Donald Trump, UNN reports with reference to Xinhua.
According to Wang Yi, during the negotiations, the parties discussed international and regional issues, including the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine.
Regarding the crisis in Ukraine, both China and the US hope for a swift end to the conflict, and both have done significant work to promote peace talks accordingly.
