Bribed MEPs and disinformation: The EU has exposed Medvedchuk's powerful pro-Russian influence network aimed at promoting pro-Russian politicians to the European Parliament by praising Russia and Putin in the European media and publishing anti-Ukrainian and anti-European materials.

On the eve of the June elections to the European Parliament, Czech counterintelligence exposed a pro-Russian network of influence on MEPs in Prague, behind which was Putin's godfather Medvedchuk. This was reported by the Voice of America .

According to UNN sources , this network was exposed thanks to the assistance of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Details

According to Czech intelligence, among other things, the network paid politicians to praise Russia and Putin in the European media and published anti-Ukrainian and anti-European materials on its own website, Voice of Europe. The goal of this company was to introduce as many pro-Russian politicians as possible into the European Parliament.

It is noted that Medvedchuk launched the Voice of Europe website together with Artem Marchevsky, the former general producer of the 112 Ukraine TV channel.

It should be noted that Putin's European political fan club has suffered a serious blow, as many MEPs are now demanding a thorough investigation of Russian influence and punishment for "colleagues" who have been working off Russian money.
