Baltic states call on the West to increase support for Ukraine

The prime ministers of Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia called on Western partners to increase assistance to Ukraine. The countries agreed that Europe's security depends on Ukraine's victory and its Euro-Atlantic integration.

After meeting with her counterparts Kristen Mihal (Estonia) and Evika Silina (Latvia) in Vilnius, she added that the three EU and NATO countries agreed that the security of Ukraine, NATO's eastern flank and Europe directly depends on Ukraine's victory and Euro-Atlantic integration. According to the heads of government of the three Baltic states, increased military spending by NATO countries is also necessary to strengthen their own defense capabilities.
