Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong confirmed the transfer of 120 Bushmaster armored vehicles to Ukraine. Australia also provided 49 Abrams tanks and military aid worth $250 million.
Australia has transferred 120 Bushmaster armored vehicles to Ukraine. This was stated by Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong during a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, noting that she would submit requests for additional assistance to the Australian government, UNN correspondent reports.

"We have delivered 49 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. On July 11 this year, we also announced a $250 million support package. It includes air defense missiles, anti-tank weapons, and artillery. We also handed over 120 Bushmaster tanks. I have heard that a colleague has requested additional assistance, and of course I will pass on these requests to Australia for consideration," Wong said.
At the beginning of the press conference, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga briefed Wong on the urgent needs of the Ukrainian army and requested additional military support, including Australian Bushmaster armored vehicles and other weapons. Sibiga also offered to take Ukraine's needs into account when writing off military equipment in service with the Australian Defense Force.

Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong also announced the allocation of 50 million euros to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as a contribution to the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine in the amount of 6.39 million dollars.
