As of May 2024, more than 4.6 million Ukrainians are registered as IDPs in Ukraine. More than 6 million Ukrainians who fled Ukraine ended up in Europe, and 4 million of them were granted temporary protection

- Fedorova says.

She said that the war has become a social challenge in Ukraine, so the Council of Europe's 2022 project has prepared a report on existing needs.

Millions of new IDPs need social security. There was a huge need to provide them, and €0.5 billion was paid to IDPs during the first six months of the war. We ensured that international aid was distributed to the most vulnerable

- Fedorova added.
