Additional fortifications are being built on the border with Belarus in the Zhytomyr region to strengthen the defense system with anti-tank ditches, minefields, and concrete structures.
Construction of additional defense structures continues on the border with Belarus in Zhytomyr region. This was reported on Facebook by the head of the Zhytomyr RMA Vitaliy Bunechko, UNN reports .

The head of the RMA emphasized that the development of a deeply fortified defense system on the Zhytomyr region's border with Belarus has been underway since 2022.
It is noted that in close cooperation with the military command, long-term firing positions of reinforced concrete were built, and engineering barriers were installed: anti-tank ditches, minefields, and dragon's teeth.
The construction of additional fortifications to protect our border is underway. Despite the changeable weather, builders continue to dig ditches and communication passages and install concrete structures to protect the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
