The court seized a Mercedes-Benz G400 D from the head of the migration control department of the State Migration Service in Odesa region due to income discrepancies. The car was registered to the official's mother in 2023.
The court confiscated a Mercedes-Benz G400 D worth UAH 5.6 million from the head of the Migration Control Department of the Main Directorate of the State Migration Service of Ukraine in Odesa Oblast. This happened due to the discrepancy between the property and official income. This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation, according to UNN.
Details
The car was registered in the name of the official's mother in 2023, although the family's income did not allow them to buy such an expensive vehicle.
The SBI found that the official illegally owned property that clearly did not correspond to his official income.
“On December 11, 2024, a panel of HACCJ judges granted the claim of the SAPO prosecutor to recognize the ownership of a car worth UAH 5.6 million as unjustified. The court also ruled to confiscate the car to the state,” the SBI said in a statement.

Two former officials of the State Migration Service of Ukraine and an entrepreneur from Russia were served with a notice of suspicion of misappropriation of over UAH 88 million.
