Over the past day, 318 ecosystem fires occurred in Ukraine, affecting more than 233 hectares. Dnipropetrovs'k, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions were the most affected, the State Emergency Service reported on Wednesday, calling for compliance with fire safety rules, UNN reports.

As indicated, Dnipropetrovs'k, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions are currently suffering the most from the fire. In particular, in Kharkiv region, firefighting is underway in a forest near the town of Balakliya in Izyum district. About 30 hectares of forest are burning there.
"Remember that it is important to follow fire safety rules in natural ecosystems and when carrying out household work on your own land. Fire spreads quickly, and even a small fire can cause a large-scale fire," the SES emphasized.
