According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of May 15 (from 18:00 on May 14), the enemy attacked with five Kh-31P anti-radiation missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea, one Kh-35 anti-ship missile from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, as well as 141 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, and "Parodiya" decoy drones from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and occupied Donetsk, Chauda, and Hvardiiske (occupied Crimea).
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 1 Kh-35 anti-ship missile and 130 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as "Parodiya" decoy drones in the south, north, and east of the country. Five Kh-31P anti-radiation missiles did not reach their targets. Hits by 7 strike UAVs were recorded at 6 locations, and the fall of downed debris was recorded at 7 locations,
As of 9:30, the attack was ongoing, with several enemy UAVs still detected in the airspace.
