Ukraine is currently simultaneously negotiating with 10 countries to sign security agreements. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Ihor Zhovkva during a telethon, UNN correspondent reports.

"Our negotiation delegation, headed by President Yermak, was formed by the President of Ukraine and includes representatives of key ministries... We are currently conducting about 10 negotiations with other countries at the same time with varying intensity," Zhovkva said.

According to him, other countries have their own bureaucratic procedures.

"Some are quicker to respond, others have problems with the budget process. Not all countries have even approved their budgets for this year, so it is problematic to fix the figure at the moment. Each agreement with Ukraine contains specific figures for the volumes that have already been provided since the beginning of open aggression, a specific figure for this year and a clear commitment that such figures and dynamics will remain over a 10-year period," Zhovkva said.

Or, as he noted in the case of Latvia, a clear percentage of GDP is defined that will not change during the term of this agreement.

Asked whether new agreements could be signed at the Peace Summit in  June, Zhovkva replied: "I think they will definitely be signed earlier. We have such a dynamic that at least several signings of such documents take place within a month. Only the first decade of April has passed, and we have already signed two agreements - with Finland and Latvia. May is coming up, so I am confident that we will soon see several important agreements with important partners for Ukraine.

Addendum

In total, Ukraine has already signed nine security agreements with the UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, and Latvia.

Polish President Andrzej Duda assured of Poland's support for Ukraine and announced the signing of a security agreement between the two countries once the negotiations are completed.
