According to American officials, the parties will discuss trade disputes, the conflict involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran, as well as issues regarding artificial intelligence.
Washington states that Trump plans to raise the topic of the revenue China receives from cooperation with Iran, as well as potential arms exports. China remains one of the primary buyers of Iranian oil.
U.S. and China may announce new economic agreements
The White House reported that the parties will continue working on the creation of trade and investment councils to regulate economic cooperation between the countries.
