Trump canceled strikes on Iran after all parties agreed on the points of the new deal. According to the American leader, the naval blockade will remain in effect until the signing process is completed.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced the cancellation of strikes against Iran on Thursday evening, which he had spoken of several hours earlier, as the "final points" of an agreement with the country were approved, UNN reports, citing CNN.

"Based on the fact that negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran were brought to the highest level of the Iranian leadership and approved, I, as President of the United States of America, have canceled the strikes and bombings of Iran scheduled for this evening," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He stated that "the discussions and final points were approved by all parties involved both conceptually and in detail."

He listed the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and Egypt as the countries that participated in the approval.

"The naval blockade will remain in place until this agreement is finalized," he said.

"The time and place of the signing will be announced shortly," he added.
