Over the past day, 132 combat engagements took place at the front. On Thursday, April 16, the enemy launched two missile strikes, using 24 missiles, and also carried out 78 air strikes, dropping 235 guided aerial bombs. At the same time, the enemy used 9701 kamikaze drones and carried out 3771 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, 142 of them with multiple rocket launchers.
The settlements of Pidhavrylivka, Velykomykhailivka, Pokrovske, Orestopil, Prosiana in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were subjected to air strikes; in Zaporizhzhia, Vozdvyzhivska, Huliaipilske, Kopani, Vasylivske, Tavriiske, Kamianka, and Rivne suffered from air strikes.
Aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces hit one area of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment, a command post, five artillery systems, and an enemy air defense system.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines of our units four times in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka, Symynivka, Veterynarne, and Starytsia.
In the Kupyansk direction, according to updated information, the enemy attacked four times in the direction of the settlements of Petropavlivka, Podoly, and Kurylivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate Ukrainian defenses once near the settlement of Lyman.
In the Sloviansk direction, over the past day, Ukrainian defenders stopped one attempt by the occupiers to advance in the Yampil area.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces twice in the areas of the settlements of Minkivka and Nykyforivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 25 attacks near Illinivka, Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 32 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Muravka, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Molodetske, Kotlyne.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of the settlements of Kalynivske, Berezove, and Novooleksandrivka.
In the Huliaipole direction, there were ten attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Staroukrainka, Huliaipilske, Olenokostiantynivka, Zarichne, and Tsvitkove.
No combat engagements were recorded in the Orikhiv direction.
In the Dnipro direction, the enemy conducted three futile offensive actions towards Antonivsky Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.
No signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
Over the past day, Russian occupiers lost 1,000 people. Ukrainian warriors neutralized four tanks, nine armored combat vehicles, 114 artillery systems, one multiple rocket launcher, two air defense systems, 2,410 unmanned aerial vehicles, 12 missiles, 253 units of automotive equipment, and three units of special equipment.
