Part of five regions is without power due to Russian attacks; the most difficult situation is in Odesa region, where after attacking the energy infrastructure, the enemy continued its strikes. No outage schedules are expected across the country, but the need for economical energy consumption remains in Odesa region, the Ministry of Energy and NPC Ukrenergo reported on Monday, UNN writes.

"As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy and Kharkiv regions are temporarily without electricity. The situation is most difficult in Odesa region," the Ministry of Energy reported.
As stated, restoration work is continuing in Odesa region following the massive attack on Sunday night. "A significant portion of consumers in the region who had previously been disconnected has already been reconnected, but over the past day the enemy carried out new strikes on energy facilities. Energy workers are doing everything possible to return the damaged equipment to service and reconnect all consumers as soon as possible," the ministry emphasized.
Restoration work is continuing everywhere the security situation allows. Energy workers are working to restore power to Ukrainian homes as soon as possible.
"No restrictions are forecast for today. Active energy consumption should be shifted to daytime hours—from 10:00 to 16:00. We ask consumers, where possible, to use electricity sparingly," the statement said.
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption has decreased. Today, August 10, as of 09:30, it was 16.7% lower than at the same time on the previous working day—Friday. The reason for the change is that the heat has subsided compared with last week. In addition, clear weather across almost the entire territory of Ukraine (except for parts of the central regions) is contributing to the high efficiency of household solar power plants and a corresponding reduction in the amount of electricity consumed from the main grid. Yesterday, August 9, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 4.5% lower than on the previous Sunday—August 2. The reason for the change is a noticeable decrease in the average daily temperature compared with last week.
"Given the weather conditions, active energy consumption today should be shifted to the period when industrial solar power plants operate most efficiently—from 10:00 to 16:00. The need for economical energy consumption remains in Odesa region in order to avoid overloading equipment following the massive attack," Ukrenergo emphasized.
