One of the largest international exhibitions in the field of defense and security, Eurosatory-2026, kicks off in Paris on June 15. The Ukrainian company Fire Point, developer of the Freya anti-ballistic software, will participate in the event.

Eurosatory, one of the largest and most prestigious international exhibitions in the field of defense and security, will take place from June 15 to 19 in Paris. Companies from Ukraine will also participate, UNN reports.

Held every two years, Eurosatory brings together leading weapons manufacturers, military personnel, government representatives, investors, and industry experts from around the world. Amidst growing global security threats and the rapid development of military technology, this year's exhibition will serve as a platform for presenting the latest models of weaponry, military equipment, satellite communication systems, cybersecurity, and solutions for critical infrastructure protection.

Among the exhibitors will be the world's largest arms manufacturers from over 60 countries, including the German concern Rheinmetall and the American Lockheed Martin. The companies will present a wide range of military products: from tanks and armored vehicles to artillery systems, missile complexes, and high-tech solutions for the modern battlefield.

The exhibition will be opened by the French Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs, Catherine Vautrin. The event will also be attended by the EU Commissioner for Defense and Space Andrius Kubilius, Lithuania's Vice Minister of National Defense Vitalija Zumerienė, Poland's Deputy Minister of State Assets Konrad Gotoła, the Chief of Staff of the French Army General Pierre Schill, and the Commander of the Belgian Army General Jean-Paul Deconinck.

Ukrainian arms manufacturers will also be widely represented at this year's exhibition. Among the products from domestic manufacturers to be showcased at Eurosatory are various types of unmanned systems, simulators, electronic warfare systems, and much more.

The Ukrainian long-range weapons manufacturer Fire Point, which is the developer of the pan-European anti-ballistic shield Freya, will also present its products at Eurosatory. Additionally, a speech by the company's CEO and CTO, Iryna Terekh, is scheduled as part of the panel discussions. Ihor Fedirko, CEO of the Ukrainian Council of Defense Industry (UCDI)—an association uniting over 280 private Ukrainian defense manufacturers in the land, air, sea, cyber, and dual-use sectors—will also participate in the discussion.

Furthermore, Ukraine will be represented in one of the discussion panels by Iryna Zabolotna, Deputy Director of the Innovation Development Fund, responsible for international partnerships and support for civilian and defense developers within Brave1.

Since its founding in 1967, the exhibition has evolved into a leading international platform for discussing the development of defense capabilities and security technologies. Traditionally, it covers not only land and air-land systems but also pays increasing attention to the maritime, space, and cyber domains.

Against the backdrop of rising defense budgets in European countries and increased focus on developing their own defense-industrial complexes, the exhibition in Paris could become one of the key venues for forming future partnerships and contracts in the field of security and defense.
