Ukraine has the infrastructure to accommodate a military contingent, but there are currently different visions with partners regarding the number and presence of personnel, as stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, reports UNN.

At the same time, according to the head of state, Ukraine sees a union of Europe and the US regarding security guarantees.
We have the infrastructure as it should look. We have differences regarding the number and presence of personnel in one form or another - we will definitely discuss these differences. It depends on the desire, on the vision of one country or another, and on funding, of course. But in general, we see a union of Europe and the US regarding security guarantees
He noted that the Ukrainian side does not yet know what role the US can play, but there are options for this role.
"Everyone would like it to be with a backstop, as the Americans say. Yes - backstop of America. So let's see how it will be. I don't want to spoil it now, frankly, on this topic, because there is no agreement yet. We have different formats on how to coexist together," added Zelenskyy.

In the event of a peace agreement, the possibility of sending a contingent to Ukraine under the auspices of the UN from countries in Asia and South America is being considered. According to Repubblica, although peace talks between Russia and Ukraine have not actually started yet, a "guarantee plan" is being put forward in case a truce between Moscow and Kyiv is actually signed.
